How to Create an Account

Welcome to myEdi.ai! Creating your account is the first step to unlocking personalized AI tutoring for your child. This guide will walk you through the entire process.

For Parents

Step 1: Visit the Sign-Up Page

Go to myEdi.ai

Click the "Get Started" button

Select "Create Account" if you're a new user

Step 2: Choose Your Account Type

Parent Account: Full control over child profiles, billing, and settings

Student Account: Limited features, requires parent approval

We recommend parents create the main account first.

Step 3: Enter Your Information

Provide the following details:

Email address (this will be your login)

Full name

Password (must be at least 8 characters with numbers and letters)

Phone number (for account security and updates)

Step 4: Verify Your Email

Check your email inbox for a verification message

Click the verification link

If you don't see the email, check your spam folder

Step 5: Set Up Your Profile

Add a profile photo (optional)

Select your time zone

Choose your preferred language

Set notification preferences

Adding Your Child's Profile

Once your parent account is created:

Navigate to "Family Settings"

Click "Add Child Profile"

Enter your child's information:

Account Security

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

For maximum security:

Go to Account Settings

Select "Security"

Enable 2FA using your phone number or authenticator app

Privacy Settings

Review and adjust privacy settings

Set data sharing preferences

Configure screen time limits for your child

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Email not received?

Check spam/junk folders

Ensure email address was typed correctly

Try requesting verification again

Password requirements not met?

Use at least 8 characters

Include both letters and numbers

Add a special character for extra security

Age verification issues?

Parent accounts require users to be 18+

Student accounts require parent approval

Contact support if you encounter verification problems
